Citygrove, working with Staycity, is pleased to present plans for a new, modern and sustainable Wilde Aparthotel for Southwark. Our proposals will transform the outdated office building at 202-208 Blackfriars Road into a high-quality development that adds activity and long-term value to the local community.
The new scheme will help strengthen the local economy, increase footfall and create a more vibrant neighbourhood.
We want the development to become a part of the community, with a publicly accessible co-working café and welcoming lower floor spaces that everyone can enjoy.
A key priority is being a considerate neighbour. We are already engaging with key stakeholders and nearby residents to ensure we are respectful to their needs in the existing context.
Public Consultation Event
On the 5th and 7th of March we held a public exhibition of Citgrove’s updated proposals for 202-208 Blackfriars Road. Many people attended, put their questions to the project team and provided feedback. To see what was presented please view the exhibition boards here.

We are currently reviewing all comments and suggestions received. This feedback will help inform the ongoing development of the proposals ahead of submitting a full planning application in Spring 2026.
